Kathy Griffin: "Whitney Cummings and I are dating"

Kathy Griffin is guest starring on this week's Whitney on NBC, airing tomorrow. "Female comedians don't support each other enough. When she called, and put her money where her mouth is and said 'come on my show' I was so thrilled.'
Although Griffin plays a lesbian on the show, as usual, she will do anything to get viewers to watch her. "When I got to my dressing room, there was a bouquet of flowers there, taller than I am so I think Whitney Cummings and I are dating. In fact, I know Whitney Cummings and I are dating. I will go ahead on record if it will help get viewers. Actually, I am playing a lesbian in this episode so let's just say Whitney Cummings and I are an item."
"Lindsay is a really fun character to play because she is annoying. I do not know why they thought of me for this role. It's called a stretch but I will do the best I can," she says sarcastically.
