Michigan's own Famous Last Words have released their debut EP Pick Your Poison on InVogue Records. The band consists of JT – Vocals, Ethan Osborn - Lead Guitar, Craig Simons – Drums, Tyler Myklebust- Guitar, Jesse Maddy – Bass.

The best way to describe this band is a combination of Sleeping With Sirens and Attack Attack! mixed together. While the band has more of a vocal styling similar to that of sleeping with sirens the band also has some electronic and synth presence, while not present for most of the songs and can be heard in and out of the songs. The style is similar to that of Attack Attack!, especially in “interlude” with the synth presence and electronic style in the song.

“Snowmageddon” is one of the harder songs off the album. The beginning of the song has distorted vocals that are created in a sort of trance way and come through the speakers right as the song starts and is the hardest hitting songs off the album.

“I’ll Get You Next Time Gadget” is the best song off the album that does seem to combine the electronic and autotuned vocals that would be heard on some of the Attack Attack! records as well as starting off as being very similar in sound to Sleeping With Sirens and is the best song off the album.

Overall I would rate this album 3/5. The reason behind this is with some songs it feels like the pace of the drums and guitar is going to speed up, but just stays at the same tempo and with some of the songs there just isn’t a build up with it. The scream and clean vocals however are perfectly synched with the songs and the vocals do not feel out of place in any parts of the song.
