Synopsis: Matt Damon, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jude Law, Laurence Fishburne and Bryan Cranston, along with medical journalist Sanjay Gupta, explore the real science of global viruses and what they mean to the human race. The world is preparing for the next biological disaster...but is it too late?
Review: Although Contagion is a decent movie, its not outstanding and it doesn't stay with you for long. We all know how the common cold is passed around - through our hands and germs in the air - but Gwyneth Paltrow's characters most definitely experiences that tenfold, but Contagion gets lots as just another pandemic movie. If the director, writers and cast were out to make another movie, then they accomplished just that. I sat through the film, didn't get bored, and then turned it off. If they were out to make a breakthrough griping film, then it failed.
The Blu-Ray includes special features like Reality of Contagion as we are shown the science behind viruses, and The Contagion Detectives show us how to fight against viruses. I wish this movie made me feel more, so I would have more to say. It's definitely worth a watch but don't expect it to change your world.
