Giuliana Rancic: "I was a nervous wreck"
Tonight (October 17) on E! News, Giuliana and Bill Rancic speak more about her announcement earlier today of breast cancer.
"This morning was tough. Actually all weekend was really tough. I was going back and forth. 'Should I do this? Should I not do this?' It's just so personal. I was a nervous wreck," says Giuliana.
"I think she was a lost stronger than I thought because up until this morning, anytime she said the word cancer she would start crying," adds Bill, "Her goal was to send a message to the young girls out there... but I think our story has a happy ending. It's very treatable. It's 100% treatable when you catch it early."
E! released a statement supporting Giuliana as well. "On behalf of her E! family we are sending our love and support to Giuliana and applaud her for sharing her recent breast cancer diagnosis in the hope that it will encourage women everywhere to take necessary and preventative measures. Giuliana has chosen to talk about her breast cancer on E! News tonight prior to her lumpectomy later this week. We are grateful that thanks to early detection Giuliana is expected to have a swift and complete recovery."
Watch the preview below and tune in tonight to E! News for the full interview at 7pm and 11:30pm ET/PT.
