On April 26, NBC will premiere The Voice, a singing competition with judges/mentors Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine of Maroon 5, Cee-Lo Green, and country singer Blake Shelton. The show, produced by Mark Burnett and hosted by Carson Daly, allows the judges to select contestants to go to the next round blindly. They will only get to hear the voice, and not see them until they select them to move onto the next round. If more than one judge wants them to mentor them, the contestant chooses who will be their mentor.
